 I was very concerned with the temptation of cheating when married. The common rule amongst men is that it's not cheating if you haven't been caught. I also received some advice from guys who felt that if I was going to do it, to make sure I stayed in control...meaning, keeping them [women] under the illusion that they have control by simply telling them they were. A wealthy friend of mine named Anthony pointed out something I'll never forget. He said. "You treat a marriage like the presidency. You're the president and your wife's the first lady. The president has all the power and the first lady has no power at all, but the illusion is that she does because we have fooled them into believing she does." He said, "The first ladies are nothing more than housewives that we decided to give a title to. This is why we don't have to ever worry about a female president. Women believe that as long as there's a first lady, they have a voice. Always make your wife believe she has power and you will be fine."

     What Anthony said really opened my eyes. How many times have we all heard men proudly say She's the boss, when speaking with someone in the presence of their wife or girlfriend. I began to learn that deception and misdirection are powerful tools within the male code.
